Not a hotel as in having a staff on location...it was more like an apartment. Very close to most of the sight seeing points..the Ponte Vecchio and Uficizi, Galileo Museum and is right along the lake. We had a nice view and since we had children it was nice to get up and hits the sights immediately. It was quite safe, we walked around at night.
Very noisy due to all the traffic that passes through so sleeping was a little difficult. You have to pay for air conditioning....CRAZY (10 euro a night)

I liked most of all the location of the hotel very close to all the major sights of the city. It's an excellent place to stay if you have only a few days and you are concerned only about getting to the attractions in shortest time possible. The manager Ryana is also very kind and friendly and can point you to all the spots that should be visited.
The room was a bit bare, there was no mini bar or fridge in the room, I thought I saw this mentioned on the page before booking it. Also missing the small items usually found in a place described as hotel: other small items like the toothbrushes/toothpaste or bar soaps (there were some packets of shampoo). There was also no hair dryer in the room, but I asked for it and I got it.

Only location.
So many things. No reception, not good building, not convenient at all. Very small room. 10 Euro for tax per person while by law it is 4 Euro. They took money for leaving our bags. Not good breakfast. Not quite place (noise from motorcycles).

Please do not book a room in this place. Just to start, we couldnt even check in. We end up homeless that night. Since we were arriving to florence at almost 10 pm, I called the "hotel" to let them know that and make sure it was ok. The woman who answered said it was ok, and that there was an extra (abusive) charge of 25 euro. I told her we were arriving at her place after 10pm and she said ok. We got there at 10:30 and nobody to answer the door. This place is not a hotel so it shouldnt be advertised as it. We entered the building because someone entered and let us in. However when we knocked and knocke at the apartment/hotel the woman did not want us to check in. She said that th manager was gone and that she could not do it. After struggling finding a place to stay that night, we went back the next morning to talk to "the manager" and turns out same woman was there. She told us literally "I dont f-ing care when you arrived, this is not a hotel, this is a bed and breakfast and I have a life". Save yourself some really bad times and do not book this place. It is not even cheap and not as well located as it says.

She gave us very good ideas for save money and improve our time. The room was clean and nice, confortable and quiet. The price is very atractive. It has elevator. Promenade has a central location in Florence and just a few steps away from the famouse Ponte Vecchio, the area is safe during any time of the day and contains cafes, restaurants and a supermarket a few steps away. The owner is kind, always there, and in case you need anything personal or ask about Florence in general, you will always get help. It was a pleasure to stay there.

A Bed & Breakfast without breakfast. You have to pay extras for everything (air conditioning, luggage deposit...). The bathroom was falling apart.

Good location for visiting sights of Florence
Even though the location was good for seeing Florence, it was very noisey at night. There were a lot of add on costs, eg for air conditioning, to leave luggage at the hotel, no soap provided. A long step up to shower which would not be good for elderly people.
